dragonfly picture..

dragon fly airing it out! - This is a photo of a dragon fly. I guess he is just hanging there to dry out or something. It looks like it is just suspended there in mid air!

Okay I am not even good enough to be an amateur photographer. At best i am just a casual lover of it! I have no fancy equipment so don't judge quality too harsh. Anyway, I was out hiking a couple of weeks ago and this dragonfly was hanging to air out I guess! I captured it.. I think it's cool picture quality aside... what do ya think?

oh! there is a dragon fly? sorry i must have missed it... i just can't see it. may be it's not that clear to me. i hope to see another copy of your photo so i can see better. i hope that it would be bigger. sorry again...

I do enjoy it! I have been doing it for some time and hope one day to buy a good, versatile camera that will produce lots better quality!

Wow that sure is a big dragonfly. I love dragonflies they seem to be drawn to me. I sit in the park almost every day, most days a dragonfly will land on my thumb or hand while I am reading. It is really strange. Actually I never gave them much thought accept when I was a child. But this year they seem to want to be one with me. Of course they are nowhere near the size of the one in your photo. Good job, thanks for sharing. Mari

This was one of the biggest ones I had ever seen! One time I had one land on the sleeve of my shirt and it would have made a great shot of its face right there in mine... but when I moved to get the camera in position it flew off!

I fear the drgonfly but i don't want to kill them.You like the dragonfly different from me.I ever caught it when i was young.I think it slow flies.I can't see your picture.

I am not afraid of them since I know they cannot bite! If their defense mechanism was to sting or bite, then I would be afraid and stay far away from them!
