Old flames online

OK so I started a discussion earlier about accepting friend requests online on places like Facebook and Myspace. While I was reading some of those comments it dawned on me a new similar question.
If an ex of yours contacted you on one of these sites would you accept and or start a new friendship/relationship with them?

I meet my ex online and he's getting married. I don't have grudge against him nor I have any linking feeling towards him. It just come across my mind and adding him as a friend. So I forward the invitation and he accepted it.
I don't contact him for any reason after that. So does the same for other exes. For me, once ended, it's over between us. No more rekindling the relationship in the same manners again. We can be casual friends and that end there.
