I have started to exercise daily many times, but it the idea was dropped due to my laziness. I badly want to exercise daily in the morning in order to reduce my tummy, but I am lazy to get up early. By the time I get up, it will be the time to go to work and I have to hurry get ready to start from home to office. Do you exercise daily? Have you ever started exercising and dropped the idea? Why? Are you in need of exercise or do you want to keep you body fit?

As you have told,I too am not a regular exercise doer.In my school days I used to play regularly and so there is no need for exercising separately. But later,I had to start something. So,I started cycling and in cold weather days I skipped it for sleep.then I started walking at nights and due to some business meetings,I had to skip it too.Laziness can be counted as one of the reasons. Now I have started to do some yoga exercises.Hope to continue it.Cheers!

Not only with yoga but it holds true for any sort of exercises too.Anything when practiced for a while and left abruptly will get you back worse than before. That is why I am trying to do some sort of exercise in any form.Either indoor or outdoor,we have to maintain our body with some exercise.I will try my level best to continue this time as this is very simple and easy and less time consuming.Cheers!

Yoga is very good, but I have heard that once you start it you have to keep continuing it. I mean you will be back to the original state once you stop it. That is the information I got from my friend. Please check withs somebody who knows yoga. Cycling is a very good exercise like swimming, but I couldn't learn cycling after trying it many times. Thnaks for the resposne.

I don't get to exercise daily because of my busy schedule, I sleep late at night and just like you, wake up with only enough time to prepare before I rush off to work. At nights when I get home, I am already too tired to even think of exercising. I can easily fall asleep as soon as my head touches the pillow. There are times when I would start doing sit-ups for a few days then totally forget about it hehehe I know that exercise is good for me but its so hard to have the discipline to do it everyday.

I have the same problems like you during nights. I usually come late from office after driving for around one hour. I will very tired and dirctly go to take a shower and have food, by the time I will be all ready for sleep and forget about exercise. But, I force myself to listen to night news in TV and after that I won't be having any energy to do exercise.

Our work could be the reason that we do not have everyday exercise. Even we do not exercise we are still active, if in the workplace we have a chance to walk, sit, stand and so on. If we are sitting all day long and we only stand for a break for lunch or in the afternoon and in the restroom we feel not so active just the way the person feel if they are exercising daily. Same with you, i could not think of exercise because if i got home, i am in front of computer and here in mylot, although i am already been in computer the whole day. I am also lazy to have that time to do exercise because i do not get up early because i sleep late.

hey dalia i'm typically like you - i always think of getting up early and do a little warmups and exercise and then start my day - but it never happened :S Exercising is a wonderful start as it refreshes you mind and body :) I once enrolled intoa a yoga class and enjoyed it throughly - it did help me tone up after my first baby. Now that you have made me realize its importance - i'm goign to wake up early from now on and spend some quality time exercising :) Thanks. :)

Yes these days i excercise more in my sleep than real. I used to do a lot of excercises when i was young. I was a martial artist for 5 years. DId a lot of yoga and jogging. I do some mental excercises like meditation. After having done stressful exercises during my martial arts days had its ill effect on my joints and neck. So i stopped doing vigorous excercises.. thx

Doing vigorous excercises for a long time is not good for your body. I don't know the magic of doing exercises in sleep. I feel pity for the people who sleeps with you. They get attacked by your exercises. I have heard about yoga, but I have never gone for it because somebody said that yoga is good to reduce weight and maintain fitness, but once you stop i, you will be back to to the original place. I know myself very well. I know that I am not going to continue it for a long time. So, I just dropped the idea of going for yoga. Also, now a days it is very expensive to go for a yoga class. Also, it is very very difficult to find time for it. I would rather prefer to go for swimming. Thanks for the resposne.

You are playing football. That itself is a good exercise for you I think. You don't have to force yourself to do some other exercises like stretching. I also want to do some sport on daily basis so that I can keep my body fit and be healty. Gyms are expensive in my place. Thanks for the response.

Since everyday I go to work and go home on foot. I regard it as my daily exercise:) It spends me half an hour and I think it's good enough for me. If you want, you can do anything as the exercise, such as doing some housework like cleaning the floor. I love China

Not daily, but I do exercise two or three times daily at home before having breakfast and after returning from work. If weather is good, and if I get back home early, I go out jogging in the park nearby too. That keeps me refreshed and active. Over the weekends, I some times go to the swimming club, have a nice swim for about an hour.

It is nice to find one person who does exercise regulary. I also want to go for jogging, but I need a company. I don't like or if I say the truth, I am lazy to go alone for jogging. Yes, exercise helps hs to keep ourselves refreshed and ctive. I also want to go for swimming, but there are no pools nearby. I have to travel atleast half an hour to reach the nearby pool. I love swimming. Thanks for the response.

I used to but not anymore. I walk my dog almost everyday though when it is not rainning outside, I walk him for 1/2 - 1 hours usually, just walk around where I live. Sometimes we run a little bit and walk a little bit, not it is warmer, I bring him to the lake to swim often, I sometimes jump into the water with him.

It is nice to hear that you have a pet dog and you are enjoying playing with your dog. You are taking care of the dog and at the same time taking care of you. Walking is a good exercise. Swimming is a very good exercise which burns off a lot of fat in our body. I do want to go for simming, but there is no pool nearby my house. Thanks for the resposne.

I do push ups and pull ups daily just to exercise my muscles. I also walk almost a kilometer everyday from school towards the bus stop. I do it because I like to strengthen my muscles. Before I got badly sprained my ankle, I jog almost every morning. But because of the accident, I do not do it anymore.

I have recently started a daily exercise program. I think I am about 2 months into it. I have found that after a couple weeks it is actually harder to skip a day than it is to get myself motivated. The key for me was to find something I REALLY enjoyed. I got a Nintendo Wii with Wii Fit, Sports, and Personal Trainer. I alternate between those depending on my mood and energy level. I am not losing weight, but my clothes look better on me, and my upper body is definitely firming up.

I don't do aerobics or any other strenuous exercise, I do daily walking exercise. I do this alone with watching the food that I eat. I am walking mainly for my health. I am not trying to loose any weight. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol and the exercise alone with my diet help to maintain it. I really don't know what I am going to do when the weather change and it gets cold. I will try to find an alternative.

I have been in your situation. I work out at the very LEAST 4 times a week now. I made myself keep trying. I realized that every time i dropped the idea of working out, I was GAINING weight. And not just a little. So I started making myself do it. Im doing well- the only thing that REALLY stops me is if i stop for a week or seomthign, i start to put it off and it takes me like 2 months to get myself to want to again. If you are gonna start, make sure you make that commitment to yourself! It's, after all, for YOU. Not for anyone else. It is so you can look and feel great. You will thank yourself when in 6 months, you can go to the dept store, and when you try those jeans on, they slip right on & button without being tight! Hope i helped =]

A full work out? No but I do run, 1 mile every night, when the sun starts to set. I have found that if I don't go and run I will not want to do it anymore. I feel great after I do it though.

i do excersice early everyday. well the thing is that in the morning for the first wekk or so your going to feel week so i suggest you wake up and jog just to get your blood pumping if you have a tredmil even better because you wont have to worry about running out in the dark at 5 am. then you can do your workout. a good thing to have in mind is not to over work yourself. start of easy and add to your routine every week. if your trying to get a little muscle then you need to mix up your workout with upper and lower body to make it more effective. the best way to reduce your tummy is to run and do sit ups and crunchs. also my mom works out her tummy and was able to reduce it with an airclimber. you can order it online and it comes with a training cd to give you work outs that will help.

Since it is summer and holiday I don't exercise much. I hardly even move. But when it aint summer I exercise a lot. At least four times a week. Then I feel good about myself. When I'm active. I need to feel good about myself to be happy. Exercising is a way to happiness. Combined with a lot of other nice stuff :D such as good grades, lovely friends and a little money does not do any bad :D
