When is dreaming too much?

Is it still normal when one think of things and shed some tears about those things that may never come? Is is still normal that even in one's own solitary moments of daydreaming he/she gets truly carried away with the thoughts that cross in his/her mind to the point of crying? Would those thoughts not mean anything at all? Would they not have appeared to guide the owner's mind as the person tries to find answers? Was it not Freud who shared that dreams are worries a person cannot face or unravel in real life? How far do you agree with him? Can dreaming become bad? Can dreaming become too much? If yes, when? Would you mind shedding some light to these questions?

There's nothing wrong in dreaming. I actually thing it is good to have dreams. However, there are times we dream too much that it can lead to something bad. Like we don't see it and put it to use if it's working in reality.. Sometimes people think and dream too much of what they have hoped for and expect and, they get frustrated and end up hating themselves and putting their self-esteem and confidence down. We need to weigh our dream if we can work on that for ourselves and for our future..

I have not dreamed a frustrating dream though; one that you say could put one's self-esteem down. That must have been a nightmare. Weighing dreams can be very difficult. It is more difficult that decoding one, in the first place. Probably, my dreams have been an after shock of thinking too much. Is that what you are telling me in saying "people think... they have hoped for"?

I thought you were pretty serious of the lines you have shared until you added that you are inviting me to play. That really disappointed me. What dreams made you cry then? Do you believe that dreaming can be too much? I would be happy to hear from you again and that you would add details to your initial reply.
