Women are no lesser souls than us men, and there is absolutely no harm in treating women equally. In tennis for example, though there are some confusion on the prize money for women at the U.S Open, I do believe it is a move in the right direction. Afetr all, don't women attract men more than men themselves?

all said and done, i think it should continue the way it is. they earn enough anywyas, and there are lots of points to debate on yes and no , so let it be like that only for the time being.

ya women shud also b given d same prize money... i disagree wid 'equal pay for equal work' coz women hav comparatively a bit lesser stamina or physical resistance than men.... though dey dont play a 5 setter game but det do produce a lot of entertainment.... women may not b able 2 play 5 sets but dey r too gud in some other games like balancing in gymnastics...

In the UK Open at Wimbledon there was much more interest this year in the men's championship than the women's. So if it were a case of market forces deciding the prize money at Wimbledon then the mens prize fund would have been significantly more than the women's. There is also the question of work rate i.e. the best of 5 sets as opposed to the best of three.
