All CAPS meaning all in capitals letter. I think it is little difficult to read all capitals in a whole sentence, I can still read it butnot as easy as regular standard format sentences. JUST LIKE THIS, SO WHICHFORMAT DO YOU THINK IS EASIER TO READ?

I write all in caps to emphasize on something or make an announcement or when I am mad. It's easy for me to read all in caps, but I prefer the normal format because of the flow of the sentences.

I have no difficulty in reading sentences written in capitals, and find them just as easy as any other sentences. However, it is usually frowned upon to use all capitals online because it is considered shouting. Personally I am unconcerned how a person posts the text.

Yes, I have a hard time reading something in all caps. One sentence isn't bad, but if it is in all caps throughout a long discussion, for example, I might pass on it as it hurts to read it in this manner, at least for me. Same goes for all bold and all italics. It's hard on the eyes.

Yes... it is quite hard to read... bothers my eyes if it is a whole long paragraph.

I don't think it's hard to read all caps but sometimes when I type in caps it doesn't look right. Some words look like there not really English normal literature lol.. Like it's some type of make believe word.. haha.. I think it's funny but yeah... Caps are just what ever.. But I prefer Normal typing like most people I'm sure haha.. =]

On one of the sites I used to manage, we had a member in the forums who was visually impaired. She typed all of her content fully in uppercase because she said it allowed her to see it better (although people had a hard time accepting that because she could have enlarged the font size on her monitor). The bigger problem was that there were a lot of people that didn't know her condition and she was constantly getting harassed by others to stop shouting at them. Personally, I don't find it hard to read if it's just a line or two but to read a long paragraph all in caps, it becomes difficult and I find I lose my focus and have to keep restarting.

I think it is harder to read in all caps along with the fact on the internet it is considered bad mannered to cap everything, most consider it yelling.

I find it hard to read as well. Typing in all caps online is like shouting offline. I like reading things that are formatted correctly (or as close to as possible - people do make mistakes) or spelt correctly. I will note though that different areas have different spellings and sometimes different formatting. For example neighbour and neighbor spelled...and spelt is a word in canada.

I use all caps to emphasize my words or to give the illusion that I am shouting. I don’t think it looks right unless it is used in those contexts. IT DOESN’T LOOK RIGHT DOES IT? IT LOOKS AS THOUGH I AM YELLING AT YOU!

For me they are equaly easy to read. The difference comes in the tone that I read it in. If I am reading a paper or letter then I have a tone that I read it in and if all capital letters are used it changes the tone by putting emphasis on the words. Capital letters should be used sparingly because they have the power to change a nice sentence into an accusation or an order if used inapropriatly.

Yes, I agree, just like they want to tell something angrily and make it stronger tone.
