Do you get food and snacks from the vending machine everyday?

At work, during your break time, or lunch time, do you use to go to the employee lounge to get your snack or sandwich from the vending machine? Do you do it everyday due to the fact of convenience? I used to get my snacks during my first break from the vending machine. And the cost of it I calculated was ridiculous. I can get more than that from SAM's club less than the price over there. So, I stop buying from the vending machine anymore. Except I didn't bring any lunch to work, I might consider purchase from there. So, do you purchase your stuff from the vending machine from your work regularly?

I seldom buy the food and snacks from the vending machine. Because the price is usually much more expensive. There are stores everywhere, I prefer to buy the food and snacks from the little stores or the department stores. It is also very convenient and the price is better. I love china

Dear friend, I do have snacks rarely and never had it from vending machine, I do get it mostly from stores or other place where I could get it fresh.

in my previous job we had a vending machine at the canteen. whenever i buy a snack i always get it from there. snacks were only available on the vending machine and food was served at the counter. so it's either i buy snacks from the vending machine or buy food. we had no choice actually. happy mylotting!

Vending machines are a total rip off so I avoud them like the plague. I am not very impressed by the quality of food that they sell either. I prefer bringing my own food into work or sometimes going to one of the local fast food shop. At least they sell food which is tasty and not bland like the rubbish that almost always comes out of vending machines.

I never had a vending machine that sells anything at my work before, I have seen them in places but jut not at work. I don'th ink I would do business with them even my company had them at office, I would just go down the building and looked for something better but same price if I concerned about the price, because everythinat at where I work and live is very conveninet, easy to find stuff to eat.

Well, we do not have a vending machine here at work. What i do for lunch is either i go across the street to Vons to get some sort of fruit or something. I also go to Subway which is right next to work. Also, to the other side of me is a Mexican restaurant. Across the street diagonally, there is a Tommy's burger. Lol. I have a lot of options. And when i am running low on cash, or i am just in the mood, i take food from the house and bring it as a lunch to work =]

Well, as i work in a grocery store, i for the most part skip over the vending machines for food, though we do have one in the break room. For the same price they want for one little snack cake or candy bar, i can purchase a whole box of snack cakes or a couple of candy bars (or hey, how about something a little healthier!) down on the sales floor, and then often even have some to either take home with me at the end of the day and have around the house for snacks, or store in my locker or desk and have snacks for the week. The one thing i DO purchase in the breakroom are my sodas/drinks. I can purchase a 20 ounce bottle of soda, water or juice for one dollar upstairs in the break room, but if i buy one out of the coolers on the sales floor it winds up costing me $1.49 plus tax and bottle deposit (both of which we have on soda here in maine) so i wind up paying something like almost $1.70 cents for the same drink i can get for a buck outt a the machine in the break room.

Vending machines are the Devil :P Its so bad. I was eating so well... Then I started going back to school and I hafta wait in the cafeteria for a bit before class starts cause I carpool with a friend and his class starts before mine. And while waiting, everything else is closed (cafeteria, college store, lobby area/etc) cause its so early in the morning. And then it just looks at me. That sweet CRUNCH bar that I haven't had since I was a kid. In its shiny blue wrapper and easy-to-fulfill $1 mark.... yum.... I now have a CRUNCH bar everyday that I have classes, which luckily is only two days. But wait! I just bought a CRUNCH bar from the convenience store today. Damn! Vending machines are the Devil.

I use vending machines as a last ditch effort. The things in there are so expensive and they are usually so unhealthy for you. I definitely make it an effort to bring my lunch or eat somewhere else. It's cheaper and ultimately better for you. While it may be very convenient, it's not worth it in the long run. I'd rather spend some extra time elsewhere - at home or in line at a restaurant - than pay the consequences of eating lunch out a vending machine everyday.
