Another case of reverse racism!

Obama is saying the police officer who arrested a black professor in Cambridge,Mass. acted stupidly. The officer responded to a call of 2 black men breaking into a house. He arrested the professor when he wouldn't identify himself and went into a rage. And of,course the police officer is accused of racial profiling. Why do blacks keep doing this?Everything seems to be about race. What would happen if a white man was arrested by a black officer? He can't say it's racial profiling even if it was.Blacks seem to be using race as a way to get what they want nowadays. If you complain about it,you're a racist. I think obama's racism reared it's ugly head in this matter.

If there is one thing that Obama knows well, it's how to act stupidly. ;~D

btw, there is no "reverse racism", there is simply "racism". It doesn't matter who the racist is, or who the victim of the racism is. Hate is an equal opportunity destroy.

The police officer is employed to keep law and order. He received a call saying two men were breaking into a house so of course he rushed off to arrest the people. It wouldn't have mattered if they were white or black. The police officer isn't necessarily guilty of racial profiling. I have taught a class of all white except 2 children that were black. I liked all the children and treated each one of them equally. The black girl was clever and hard working. The black boy had special educational needs. I would have hated if I had been accused of racial profiling. I think black skin is lovely and I respect all different cultures in the world. I think Obama is sensitive about color and misread the situation.

Obama was showing his true self. What else could he say, he is just as racist as his wife who has said she hated whites. He may have dozed off in his church and claimes he didn't hear Rev.Wright but it was planted in his mind. He now says he didn't know the facts and may have used the wrong words in his answer. Almost every black plays the race card sometime in their life. Maybe thats another reason he would rather be called a black opposed to bi-racial. Too bad everyone can't do that.

I think it's funny that Obama couldn't find another word other than 'stupidly'....shouldn't he be beefing up his vocabulary just a lil bit? I really think when someone pulls the race card, they should think about the cause and effect of their actions first. The why, what, where, when and how might help. Basic, easy questions before jumping into a quick, STUPID decision or a quick, stupid answer......

It's funny when I was watching the news segment he also after saying stupidity he said that he has not read enough about the case... that means he should not even come out nationally and hype the story up if he does not know all the details, now that is stupidity!

If the officer was in the right, and this was a good arrest then why were the charges dropped. I have read this story a few times, and I have no idea why anyone would think a man in his late 50's would be breaking into a house. I just find this very hard to believe that this officer would have done the same thing to a white man.

They were dropped because the guy cried racism and the mayor is black; also the Prsident carries some weight in such matters.

We can judge this better if we were present when it all happened. Whites please understand the frustration of blacks, c'mon a black is american president and there are agitations here and there. What about apartheid in south africa, a separate toilet, hotel, jobs, house, and lots more for white. Whites coming to africa to rule, oppress and killing voices that rose against them. Nelson Mandela was jailed for 27 years by the then white this happened until 1994. Am not in america, so i don't know the racism against blacks over there is like, but from experience of people over there, it's terrible, can someone here prove to me that a white professor breaking into his house has ever being arrested by a white police let alone a black police.

There are all kinds of people out there. Just because you are 50 years old doesn't put you above breaking into a house. And since when did police officers start asking people what their occupation was before they made an arrest? Being a professor says nothing about a person's character. White or black, I'm sure there was racism going on. In today's society, there is racism going in all directions. The only reason we hear more about racism against black people is because of America's past history of it. That doesn't mean there isn't just as much racism from blacks towards whites. What about the racism against those from the Middle East? Seems nobody has an issue with that going on....and just because we all have a pretty common opinion of people from Middle Eastern decent...doesn't make racism against them right. Point.....everyone is racist...I think its time white people stop being singled out for being the only racist ones.

What do we use the term reverse racism ? Racism is racism no matter who it is directed at. By saying reverse we are saying that is only happens to one race. While we're at it why is white or black a race ? There is no country that is called White or Black country is there ? You can be from Africa, USA, England ect and be any color ( you just have to be born there to be from there). If a white person is tracing back there heritage they trace it from England, France, ect. Not all Black people are from Africa.

I believe the police officers were in the right, they did not go against any rules whatsoever. They were just doing what they had to do in this situation. I can't believe that it is getting national attention, there are worse problems in the world to focus on, what are they trying to distract us from is what I am wondering. And I agree, race crying is really too overdone. Hardly anyone in the US is racist anymore, but the word is constantly used, and a lot of people just take it because of racial guilt.

Reverse racism does not exist and its a negative term to use ( your calling a entire group of people racist and saying that racism has been turned on them, the oppressor getting oppressed). Why do you state, "Why do blacks keep doing this?". That is rather suspect and I question your motive behind this discussion. I don't feel that it is necessary to get angered by an opinion and to draw outlandish conclusion about all of your fellow Americans from a different cultural group. You have the right to your opinion as does the president, the people involved in the incident, and anyone else who wants to comment on the matter. But you shouldn't make generalizations about "Blacks" and what goes on as society interacts. I recall hearing the woman stating that a man was seen using his shoulder to get through a door but she didn't immediately answer reporters call, although if you have evidence of her stating two men then I will accept the correction. That woman made a very typical and caring decision as a neighbor who doesn't really know her neighbors well enough to recognize them and made the understandable decision to call the police to try to protect the person who actually ended up arrested. But I also can understand how the professor could have been annoyed with the police call, possibly from previous experiences in his life, as well as the fact that he was being approached with suspicion while trying to enter his own home. It was a misunderstanding and I don't feel that the police made the best decision by arresting him since he posed no threat to himself or others. I also disagree that President Obama is "racist" in any way considering that not a single cultural group in the US has been disenfranchised, denied jobs, school admissions, access to public places because of the cultural identities during his administration.

I am looking in from the outside. I think everyone is so touchy because there is a reversal of roles. Suddenly, the colored skin is asserting their power. Their time had come. Why don't we allow it and see how the world goes. After all, they had come a long way and proven their worth. Bill Cosby made me laugh. Michael Jackson made me dance. Michael Jordan made me jump to glory. Let's give Obama a chance. It is his time to shine. But of course let no man be subjected to any form of injustice. That we cannot allow. No one is above the law.

I don't know what to say in this issue, since i haven't watch or read the story news. but i do believe that Obama should know the truth before siding with the other guy. he is supposed to have broken barriers against racism, right? so, why is this happening? ok. i just read it, Cops are doing their job right but i hope they get the chance to explain their side too..
