I did publish that poetry book, "Shining Bright Poems" on Wordclay.com by Shirley Billingsley. Take a look. I decided to go with WordClay again, since they are really good.

Hi, Congratulations on your publishing success. I hope your book of poetry does well on the market. I definitely will take a look at your poetry, on the website that you published to. I, too, write poetry on the website, Triond. I have been approached my publishing agencies to publish with them, but never pursued it, now maybe I will. Again, congratulations!

Thanks very much. You know, if you have been approached by publishers, then i sure would not ignore that. Go for it. Good luck.

Published........... oh wow, congratulations. I will be sure to take a look at it soon. I have been interested in writing my own book of poems and getting it published but wasn't sure of all the steps. So maybe you will be nice enough to help me? Please add me as a friend here at mylot. I would love to read over some of your poems. Did they charge you a lot of money in order to publish your book? Please forgive me if you feel that I"ve asked anything too personal or perhaps came off too strong with my questions. It's just that it's kind of late and I need to be in bed right now, I will feel much better tomorrow and will have a much clearer head for thinking rationally. Anyhow, please give me as much information as you can. Thank you for your time and patience. Also thanks for posting this discussion..... Happy mylot!

Thanks for your response. I don't feel like you are asking too many questions. I remember a time, when i was doing exactly the same thing. It did not cost me anything to get published. That is the way the world works now. Not like those publishers that cost you a fortune to get just a few books. I will be happy to give you any instruction and advice that you need. I am adding you as a friend.

Published.......... Thank you very much for adding me as a friend Shirley, I look forward to getting to know you better. I'm very much appreciative of any information that you could give in order to help me get published. It's good to know that there are some book companies that are helping people to get published without charging a fee. Right now I"m pretty sure that I've got at least twenty poems if not more. I simply write them down whenever I happen to be in the mood for it. I think my ultimate goal would be to write a novel but I would like to work on getting a book of poems out there and published before moving on to harder task. Providing that I can come up with at least 100 poems, I think that would be enough to put in one small book. What do you think? Should I try to strive or higher goals or keep it nice and simple? Then once I get these 100 poems all together can you advise me on what would be the next step? I will check my friends list right now to see if I have a friend request from you. Once I get one then I will accept and we can finish talking about this by way or personal messages.( pm's) I'll see c u soon. E.

ShirleyBillingsley, First of all, congratulations. I am happy for you here that you have managed to successfully publish a book on poetry. Your effort is certainly worthwhile now with this publication. Is this your first book here as you mentioned here that you are going with this establishment again. Thank you for your announcement because you have revealed a helpful site for budding writers here. I am sure they will be as appreciative as me. Have a nice day.

No this was not my first book. I have other books with Wordclay, as well. You can just type in my name on the site, and my books will show up. I think all writers need more places available for publishing. I also have books on Lulu.com
