Is it possible that you're router got fried? I'm just wondering because of the storm. Anyway, what kind of modem to you have? If it's a DSL Wireless modem, you should be able to get a signal from this modem. Call your Internet tech support, and they can help you out. If this isn't the case, when we had CABLE DSL, we had a cable going from the computer to the router, and router to the modem, then the modem to the phone line. I'm not sure if this will you out any, but that's what I can tell you.
