Why do we get lazy?

Do you think you take the easy way out, take short cuts or get lazy? Why and When?

For me, I think the society is going too fast-paced. Everyone works like from 8-6pm daily, from Monday-Friday, and sometimes even Saturday.. and by the time we have rest, we always got errands to run, clean the house.. and blah.
I think we all need to time off to BE lazy.
I want to be lazy too. But don't think circumstances allow me to.
