Are you in-charge of your life OR live life as it may?

Most of us, when we were younger, our parents decided what is good for us. Our education, our meals and friends are most of the time influenced by our parents but when we are adults we take charge of our life. Somehow, we sometimes did not plan for our life and just let it be. How about you, hope you can share some thoughts here, thanks!

I did not take charge of my life initially but after school, I was determine to get out of my hometown to the city to study. I was the first in my family to do so. And I did. And I succeeded. Then I got married to this fabulous guy who is even better in taking charge of our life. He plans our life so well in terms of finance and security. Now, we have a kid and we are living our life as how we want it to be. So far, it is doing great!

Hi submerryn, you are smart. After school you take charge of your life. You showed your best during courtship and the result- a happy successful marriage. Your fabulous husband is in-charge of your family with your full participation as a supportive understanding wife. For a happy family life we need a husband who loves his wife unconditionally and a wife who stands beside him no matter what. May you live happily ever after. Thanks for your response.

Dear James,This topic really makes me think of what I have achieved in my life so far, and asked myself "Do I planned for all these?" Looks like I've been letting my life flowing where the current flows... so, after this discussion, I have decided! The Verdict: I will take charge of my life with immediate effect! Thanks for the "wake up" call... Happy myLotting!

Hey, Well it all depends, sometimes I am in charge of my life, but at other times I can live life as it may happen. Yea my life most of the time is also influenced by my parents, but sometimes it can be a bad thing. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

When we were young, it is our parents' influence. They lay the plan for us. Take up law or medicine. It is good for your future. But when we entered High School, we found out that Biology is not our cup of tea. There gone our parents' dream. Thanks for your contribution. God bless you, too.

It is some what like teaching cycling and swimming. You need to be taught till you think you can control on your own. Till our adulthood we need the support of our parents and elders. They keep guiding us. From then onwards we should be taking charge of our life. First we are taught, then we teach our children. The cycle of life goes on and on. Never sit idle and leave everything to chance. You do your best and God will do the rest. God has given us enough intelligence and enough strength to lead our life. Remember fruits of labour is always sweet.

Glad to hear from you. I like your phrase :~ We do our best, God will do the rest! You are right, our parents will teach us, guide us and will always be there to encourage us in our lives. We will do the same to our children. Our family have provides us with the best education, the best environment, we should have enough information to decide what we want in live and take cahrge of it. Thanks for sharing, all the best :)
