Do we really know who our enemies are?

So get up and make the full family speech. What have you got to loose. That's what I did and if they continued to talk about me it was behind my back so I didn't care. They all got over it in a few years and some even praised me for being so brave.

I'm really sorry about all of this. It's never pleasant to have people judge you like that. If you ask me, I don't really think that they're in a position to judge you. If you're happy with your life and the way that you live it, then that's all that really matters, right? It's fair that they do this to you. You live your life and they can live theirs. It's not easy to be judged, especially by those, who should love you.

Actually this is a very good discussions because I canfind myself in your post, I got some relatives either men or women who are constantly trying to find a way to make me feel that I am worth nothing, I do not need to know theirs opinions but they give their views even after knowing that. They are the real enemies because they are always finding opportunities to make me feel so wrong about being in this world.

Well I completely agree with you sometimes the people whom we know and respect treat us like aliens and can actually spill filth around us......I feel its the expectations that people have that sometimes makes a difference......my cousins are mostly highly qualified and are being paid fart salaries, not that I am not qualified and don't have a good job......but not as good as them maybe and they are not really in touch and I don't really care if they are not......I don't think anyone has the right to isolate someone because they don't have a life as good as theirs...... I am religious and I believe in god, maybe that's the reason I don't worry about my internal and external enemies because I know that my good lord will protect me from all the snares of this evil people, I enjoy my company with him and some of my best buddies....... PEACE !!!!!

No we don't our enemies can be the ones who we really think are our friends, so no you dont know who is your enemie thats why the saying is dont trust your friends trust your enemies ..... Cause your enemies remain same friends always change remember that one :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one with a family like that. Sadly it seems that the truely nice ones have passed on, leaving the gossipy, nasty ones. I solved this by moving half way across the country...lol. Now, the ones who are gone I can miss on my own terms, and the ones who are left I don't have to worry about because I never see them. Let them find another scape-goat in their small worlds, with their narrow, hurtful minds.

Regardless of what relatives say about you. You will eventually have to come to the conclusion you cannot satisfy everyone and you cannot be who everyone wants you to become. No matter how hard you try, you will never satisfy everyone.
