Read for school?

Did you read it for school or did you choose it on your own? I read it for school, twice. Once in middle school and then again my sophomore year of high school.

yes.i read it for school when i was in high school.it part of our english literature class.it was good but sometimes scary parts.hehehe

I read this for school. I don't remember for sure exactly when in high school we read this, but I think it was senior year because we read the version that was in weird English rather than the translation. I didn't really like this one that much. The story was okay though, I watched a TV spoken performance of the story and then I liked it. But I guess I just didn't enjoy actually reading this and trying to translate.

I kind of liked looking at the older form of English because I think it's interesting the way language evolves.
