Do you think you are older than your age? Is it bad for your health, and mind?

Have you ever looked at the mirror? Have you ever realized that you are getting older, and always act like someone older than your age? I do think and question a lot about my life. There are so many things that are going on with me. Sometimes I am frustrated with them, but I always think actively. What about you? Do you think that you are older than your age?

I do think that many of us are ahead of our age in terms of our age.Its the gift of current environment that we live in.I don't think that its bad to be ahead in life than what at ur age u r supposed to be.have good day

I guess the environment surrounding us has a role to play in our growth. So as the development of our thinking takes place with time ,sometimes it is a case where some people are a bit older in thinking than they are in their age.I think situations hastcaused my thinking to develop much faster than my age.Have a good day

I do feel quite mature for my age, but I am not sure if that is down to my ego or naiveness. As a teenager I thought that I knew it all and my opinions were there correct ones. Now I know that my opinion is now more important then the next persons. I think that I am a lot more understanding then I used to be. I do not judge people like I used to and I think this reflects in my personality being a lot more free and kind. I know that I know nothing really about this big wide world, nobody does to any great extent. You will find ways to work out your frustrations even if at first there seems to be no way around them. I try to not take myself too seriously as the mind is a powerful thing and it can beat you up over very small issues. When I am lying down in bed at need all my so called problems seem to come to me. I just try and think of all the positive things and make myself realise the stupidity of the sitatuon.

Not that I tend to look at the mirror to vacillate, I have been 'weird' in thinking compared to those that I share the same age with. I have been like that since the mid part of my high school days. I don't know why but, even my classmates tend to say that we aren't in the same generation (^_^") One time, I was talking to this old teacher from another country and she said that she doesn't hear me as someone younger but, someone whom she can easily talk to compared to the youth in their country that I actually share the same age with. Though it does sound nice that we think 'mature' we should still be grounded in some aspects with our age. Enjoy our age as she said.. inadvertently anway. (-_-") Others would even comment that I am a deep thinker.. which I don't actually do now-a-days.. nor do I think about important things (-_-") Perhaps most of those who would respond to this discussion would have the similar situation?

Someone asked me a question once. "If you didn't know your birth date, what age would you give to yourself?". The question made me think about how we keep calculating ourselves throughout the life as numbers, and one of these numbers being our age. And what does age represents after all? You can't judge someone by their age, because I've seen teens of 13-14 years old that looked like 18, and my mother is 48 but looks like she's in her 20's And that's only the physical part, because there are people that short lives but have managed to succeed and accomplish great works, and there are people that lived maybe even for a hundred years, but never did anything more than eat, sleep and whine all their lives. As Einstein said: "It's all relative." In my opinion, you have the age you give to yourself. If you're concerned with your looks, age will always be a problem, but if your purpose in life is to achieve something, then age will be your guide and your proof of experience

hi i haven't exactly tried looking myself at the mirror and think about myself... i think according to what i do and how i react to things, earlier i have been so different and looked at things so differently, certainly a lot has changed and i am growing older, i begin to ponder over things and life, i am getting older and have more responsibilities, friends at school and friends now, they are so different... life definitely changes the way we think and do as we grow mature...

Hi Minhminh, you look GREAT! I do look at the mirror, yes...time has passes by so fast, this can proved by the darkspot on my cheek, grey hair on my head... too stressful, I guess! Anyway, darkspot - go for facial treatment! Grey hair - coloured it :) so, be happy and feel young again! Actually there is this machine where they can do health check... Biological age vs. Physical Age. We have tried it at the mall during promotion. We felt great because our physical age (done some test) is much younger than our actual / biological age. So minhminh, do not think too much, just reflect what you have achieved so far and what you have contributed to this society, earth and this world, be happy and live life to the fullest. God Bless you & happy myLotting!

I am kind of the opposite. I feel like i am younger than i really am. I think of myself as being early 20's when i'll be hitting 28 at the end of this year. The older you get, the faster time flies

It is actually the reverse case that is happening with me. I oftent feel that i look youunger than what my actual age is. This makes me feel good and refreshed all the time.

i am only 16 and i seriously wish i was older. in my mind i feel older and that i could handle an adult life. but there is so little opportunity for people of my age. i really want to make a difference, an impact on people. but at my age no-one would take me seriously. young people should be more driven to succeed at an early age.
