Need to stop a bad habit

I love movie spoilers. I almost always read the spoiler before I decide to go see a movie. My boyfriend hates this though, he says it defeats the purpose of going to the movies. I told him I would stop but I am so tempted to look up something about "Orphan" and see if I want to go see it. Can someone give me advice on how to stop or a review of Orphan?

hello blue, before anything else i would love to welcome you here at mylot hope you like it here like most of us do. if that bad habit of yours (as you call it) affects you on choosing to watch the movie or not then i think you need to stop. opinions of others are not as the same as ours. and as long as you wont influence others on what you knew from the spoiler then i dont think that you would stop. i just think you need to control yourself on blurting things out.

I think that if you want to actually quit reading spoilers, you will. it isn't a matter of what you should do, but if you are actually willing to do it. If you want to do it solely for your boyfriend, then it won't actually happen. If you want to read a spoiler, then do it. i don't see the problem with it, besides spoiling the ending for yourself. but if you are reading the spoilers and then telling your boyfriend too, i would be upset too. if you don't care and still want to spend money on the movie after reading the ending, then just keep your mouth shut about the ending.

I haven't seen any reviews of Orphan, but I will be glad when the movie finally opens and they can stop with those commercials already Your boyfriend seems to be correct. What is the point of going to see a movie when you already know what is going to happen? That's kind of like reading the last chapter of a murder mystery and then wanting to read the book
