All Microsoft Word files have become screen savers!

This is the most peculiar problem I have ever faced. Yesterday, I found that all of my word documents have been converted to Screen Saver files! How do I know? The extension of Microsof Word files is *.doc whereas the extention of a screen saver file is *.scr. And all my word files have got *.scr extension! Oh my God! I searched in google what this problem could be. What I found was, this evil deed is done by a virus called JEREMY.A! This nasty virus attacks all of the Word or Excel documents in your computer and changes the extension making it impossible to open the original word file. I am perplexed what to do. Anybody has any experience in this regard?

I believe this is a rare case! For this reason, there is not much information in the websites about this problem. I tried to find out from various websites what the problem could be, but could not find any satisfactory answer or solution. Thank you a lot for coming ahead to spare me a little time in this regard.

Try to change the file name to something with a .doc extension.
