How many times do you vote? It is fair to stuff the ballot box?

Do you sit and hit redial over and over for the same person or only vote for them one time? Do you call and vote for more than one person each week or just vote for your favorite? I have several that I really like and two went home last night. There are a couple that I wouldn't mind seeing them go, they annoy me for some reason, but I only vote one time for each person, and I usually vote for one guy and one girl at this point. I always hated calling for American Idol since the lines always seemed to be busy. Some people just keep hitting redial. It has been better the past couple of years, but it still gets old trying to vote and not being able to get thru. Do you think that's fair or should they limit the number of votes you can have like they do on Dancing with the Stars. You get one vote per contestant, so this coming week you'd be able to vote 6 times. I prefer it that way. I think they get a better idea of who the people like that way instead of someone redialing over and over and over and over again for one person when I barely have time to call once or twice.

If I don't have a clear favorite I don't bother, but when there is someone I really like, especially if there is someone going against them that irritates me for some reason, I'll vote. It usually takes a few episodes to decide who I like, if anyone.

When I vote on American Idol yes I vote and I vote - I have voted over 100 times for someone that I want to win. For Dancing with the Stars there is a limit to voting. So I will vote the limit but also use everyone phone in the house. LOL LOL LOL. I do believe that American Idol should change its voting system to a certain limit.

I'm surprised that more shows don't have restrictions. Even if I voted with every phone, we only have three total (one house, two cell) so that is still not near what I could vote over and over. I generally vote once and hope they win from that, but they generally don't. At least on So You Think You Can Dance my favorites didn't win. I do pretty good on American Idol and America's Got Talent, even only voting once.
