I don’t act my age, that’s for sure! It is not necessarily a good thing because although I like to have fun and act silly for a laugh I can sometimes come across as though I am younger not just by the way I look but because I am not as assertive and confident as a woman my age should be.
Of course my young seven year old thinks I am terrific as I can relate to her age group very well and I could play her games for hours!

Hey balasri! I would like to think that I don't ever act
my age! But, unfortunately sometimes the aches and pains
do remind me of how old I am! But, in spirit and my mind
I am nowhere near what my actual age really is! I don't
think like an "old" person and therefore don't like to act
like an "old" person! I have to sometimes stop and check
myself! I used to carry on with my friends and act all crazy,
but that was back a few years now! I have slowed down a bit,
but still can keep it moven'! I still like the new music and
try to keep up with all the current stuff that comes out and
I know that I surprise the kids in the music stores when I'm
singing and snappen' to all the latest songs! But, I was
always that way! That's the kinds of things that help keep
you young and I hope to always be that way! Damn my Mom is
79 and you would never know it by looking and here and watching
the way she acts!

I think I am bit of both as and when situations demand or as and when my wee little brain demands of me. I love to be a kid, silly and stupid and also I could be unpresumably adult and act like my mom would do. Life is a balance - a balance of both things and that's what makes it interesting!

It is both i should say.Sometimes[in fact I should admit it is most of the time]I feel like a teenager though I am circumspect enough not to show it. But there are other rare times w when i do end up saying something wise because I have had considerable experience in that particular field and I also have memory that makes me corelate events that happened long back.

I am often told that I dont act my age
I like to play and have fun

It's no fun to act my age. I enjoy life, people and my surroundings. Never know how long we will be here on this earth. Have always been a fun person who enjoys the value of not only my life but others as well. Am a caring, sharing person who acts like a teenager..lol

Do I always act my age? Heck no!
I can fluctuate in either direction though and it all comes down to where I am and what I'm doing at the time. More often than not though, I'll go the young and silly route rather than the mature one because we should all be childish every now and then I reckon!

Ive behaved this way as far as I can remember.^_^ Sure I might be more silly a few years ago than these days but I still do have those moments of being child-like, carefree and fun. Im mostly serious and others have commented that I might seem snobbish on the first meeting so they're quite surprised when they learn that I can be crazy.LOL
Guess my true behavior shows off when Im with those who Im more comfortable with.
As for maturity, yeah I think that Ive become more mature now. I do behave according to my age. Probably even older than my age I think.^_^ Havent had the opportunity to ask a third party perspective.
Well, that's how I view myself at least.^_^
Have a great weekend!

No I never act my age, I m not sure how a 43 year old is supposed to act. I think it's because I'm around teenagers all the time, my kids have lots of friends that are over alot. I mean I don't act like they do, but they and others tell me I act young, it's not acting it's just me.
Sometimes I feel like I haven't changed, my husband has, we were highschool sweethearts been with him since I was 16. I wish I would have changed but I don't think I have. Weird but true.

I'm already an adult but i don't look like one. Acting maturely will depend on the situation i'm in to, When I'm Out with my friends or partner I'm a bit serious. At home, I'm childish, love to bully my younger brother.lol

I tend to act a lot older than my age. A lot of people don't realize that I am "only 27." They often think I am a lot older. Also, I've never really gotten along that well with other people my age, so I tend to stick with people who are a lot older than I am. My husband is 35 years older than I am.

Hi Bala!
It depends on the different situations. If I am in the company of younger friends I try to communicate at their levels and when I need to render my advice to them (either unsolicited or solicited.....LOL!
) I try to act maturely and pour out all my experiences for their benefit. I always wish that younger lot should get some benefit out of my experiences and maturity because I know that 'there is no substitute for experience'.
What about you Bala?

hi balasri!^^
it's a shame but i don't always act my age. ^^;; i often get comments that i'm childish. well, i don't deny it because i am childish.
but i do act my age usually. sometimes, more mature than my age. but that's seldom.
i don't know. maybe i feel like life is a lot easier if i'm childish. not irritating childish, but cute childish, if ever there is one.

I feel myself younger than my age. But I soon come to realize that I am not as younger as I am thinking about. I come to know it when the other people use to call me as uncle. I feel that I seem like an uncle, so I stop to think that I am a young as I was thinking that.

I think acting your age all the time is for the birds. There is a time to act your age and a time to be extreemly mature and a time to play like a child with your children or grandchildren.
I know that I had a childhood where I did not have to grow up fast, my children feel otherwise. In a way they had to grow up fast, but I made sure they still had the time to be children too.
I have watched young adults that were children grow up over night due to the experiences they have been going through.
Take the time to enjoy life while you are at it.

I dont think much, but i feel a lot thats why life has made me to act matured than my real age..Thinking is from mind n feeling is from heart..Feelings wont go wrong but our mind might guide us wrongly because its a bin to hold good and bad things..Its depends on our perception to look at things and act according to it..
The thing which looks good to me might look bad for others and we call it as "DIFFERENCE IN OPINION"
If you act too young then your behaviour will be named as "CHILDISH"(But it is considered as an ANNOYANCE by the elder fellows)
If you act too matured then your behaviour will be named as "MATURED"(But it is considered as an ANNOYANCE by the younger fellows)
