Do you keep a weight loss journal? How long have you kept it? Do you use it everyday to keep track of what you're putting into your body and why you're eating it? Is it because you are genuinely hungry, because you mistake thrist for hunger or because you're an emotional eater? Keeping such a journal can really help you on your journey, do you need a place where others can help you by keeping journals too? caloriesperhour is a great place for doing just that.

I have tried before to do that. I just find it makes my day harder to keep up with. I may consider doing so again though because my diets repeatly fail.

It can be a hassle, which is why a mini one that fits in a wallet or purse might be a good idea... or on something like an Iphone or Ipod as used by the person above. If it makes things more difficult just write to the journal itself and yell at it your frustration... since its not directed at anyone but the journal it'll be fine, but any frustration you feel might be alleviated for just a little while at the least. Goodluck with that if you being... and its always a great idea to join a group of people who also keep diaries since its a great support system.

Yep. I keep a journal on my iPhone using a weight loss application. Using that, I've already lost 1 kg in 2 weeks. It really is helpful and if you want to lose weight, I think it's vital to keep a journal because if not, you have no clue how much you're consuming and how many calories you are burning. a journal can get tedious though. i often get lazy but i force myself to do it and i think that led to me a 1 kg loss. if i keep up the pace, i will be able to lose more weight and i think all of you will be able to too with a journal.

I know just how tedious it can get, but if you carry it around everywhere you don't just have to write about the food and reasons you consumed it... you could write about anything going on at the moment. In fact take some time to write in the journal before getting something to eat... sometimes it makes the craving/hunger disappear... if it doesn't well then try a glass of water first and wait fifteen minutes, if you're still hungry then find something to eat, the healither the better but keep in mind you should always make room for at least one small tasty treat in moderation that you love. Swimming is a great way to exercise, you can burn more calories swimming for an hour leisure style than you can in an hour of walking or most other things. Plus its fun and you feel cool and you don't get sweaty.

I think there are many things that you can do to keep a journal and their are online sources like wellness 360. I think there are many ways to keep track of your weightl loss goals and your expenditures. I think that using online journals are alot more fun than others. I just there are many things you can do.

I don't believe I've ever heard of wellness 360, but you're right there are alot of online sources, some better than others. It can be difficult to find though with so many get thin fast schemes that keep popping up no matter where one looks on the net, but such good resources are out there.

I try to remember to write down everything I eat and then I post it on sparkpeople. Then I can find out how much sodium, calories, ect I have ate during the day. I have also been trying to get into the habit of taking a picture of my meals with my camera phone. Doing this for one day did more for me than journaling my food intake for 6 months.

hello i use this site called spark people they actually have a weight meter and you can set a goal on it and like that a rewards thing lie if you drink 8 glasses of water a day you get to spin a wheel and make point and when you get enough points you get these little trophies they arent real but it still makes it kind of fun and people post inspiring stories and you can make friends and discuss things its kind of fun.
