Your opinion please. Is this "for real"?

A friend of mine sent me an email today with a link in it. She has sent me many links before - some are legit - 100% true, others are 100% fake and completely made up, while others are a mix of fact and fiction. The link she sent me today is about President Obama and a proposed method of reducing our national debt. Here is the link - http://investment-blog.net/obama-sell-b-2-bomber-blueprints-to-china-for-debt-relief/ From what I have seen of President Obama and some of the ideas I know he has proposed; I find it possible. But, it could just be something made up to make him look even worse than he does on his own Have any of you mylotters heard anything else about this? Is this fact, fiction, or a mix of the two?

Even though I am from Canada, I closely follow American politics because I have many friends and family in the states. I have not once heard anyhting like this on the news, radio or in print. If it were true, you KNOW they would plaster it all over the net, and all over CNN. Its probably a hoax to turn people against Obama to make sure he looks bad enough so that he won't be re-elected in the next presidential election. Mind you, I could be wrong, but that's what i think cause i haven't heard about that b4 anywhere

Thanks for the input. I hadn't heard anything about this either; but, it did say he got a negative reaction from the person he approached with it and that he wasn't taking it to Congress at this time. With everything else that has been going on in the news, it could have been considered to be insignificant enough to have been overlooked since it didn't seem to be going anywhere.

true, but then again, when it comes to the President, nothing is considered insignificant these days

I can't find anything about this on any reputable news sources. I just find the same blog post on several different blogs.

Thank you for looking into this. If all that is out there is comments on blogs; then, it is very likely one blog started it and it is being spread by other bloggers who are not checking their facts.

I think there are many things that you can do with a blog but I dont know what sorts of things would be real and would be made up. I think that some blogs are really good and others use reblogging and other posts to find out things that are happening in the world. It jsut depends what you want to do and what you want to look at.

True, some blogs are commentary on real things that happened or are happening. Others are satire on real events. Some are 100% creative writing on the part of the blogger. It is hard to know what is true or not unless you have seen other posts and news articles that back up the blog. I had not seen anything else about the subject of this blog; BUT, I can't be everywhere and read everything that is written by myself. That is why I am asking for input from other people. We all read and hear about different things and mylot is a good place to get together to share what we have read and heard.

you can find interesting things on blogs but you need to do a search and find out if there is anything similar in reputable news sources. generally i take take everything i read on them with half a pound of salt before doing this. this looks made up but i haven't checked it out.

I hadn't heard anything about this myself and different search engines bring up different results. Also, any search with "obama" in it will bring up millions of results. Finding what you are looking for can be time consuming and then you have to sift through the "junk" to try to find "facts". As, I stated earlier, it is "believable"; but, not likely. However, if someone else has some facts one way or the other, I would like to know about it.
