In the past, whenever i drink coffee, i feel just fine. But lately, I've been experiencing hyper acidity often when I drink coffee. Does coffee cause hyperacidity?

Never heard that one. I did hear that it is beneficial for diabetes. Though this ,I tend to believe seeing it gets your metabolism going. Where is your source come from?I read only health magazines, books on healthy living ect. And have never seen anything like this stated.

I´ve never heard that coffee/caffeine causes cancer before. Of course everything I like is bad for me.

Yeah, it could. How long have you been having coffee and enjoying it with your tummy not calling a stop? Perhaps, you have exceeded the capacity of your tummy to deal with it. Like have you been sustituting coffee for food? Then it does have this effect of triggering hyperacidity.

for me it's all according to what coffee i drink, starbucks, and mcdonalds doesn't effect me but if i drink duncan donuts coffee i need a jar of tum's to get rid of the acid. so cut back or change brands, oh yeah burger king coffee is the pits, bad stuff. it could also be what you ate the night before mixing with the acid in the coffee.

Most definitely have you switched brands ?Or started drinking more ? People with bad nerves and hyper should stay away from it,its addictive the rush you get or the false alertness ,it gives you. Is it safe ?I guess the jury is still out on that one.Coffee cans have no warnings ,but cause unpleasant side effect for some.

Hello there, I am an acidic person, actually it is not the coffee that causes the high acidity. It's the sugar and creamer mixed with coffee.Drinking pure coffee, esp brewed ones( no sugar and cream) is very good to our health,it can be an anti oxidant. So,if you really want to drink coffee and can't get rid of drinking it...just drink it plain my friend...no sugar..no cream. If you really can't drink it as it is,you can use honey as a sweetener or molasses.Never use the refined sugar but no no no cream at all.
