Well, I very like the Windows XP... It quite user friendly and is mostly used by many people in the world...

I use Win XP too(with service pack 3).But maybe I'll start using Linux, because it's much 'smarter' that Windows. For example,it doesn't open unuseful ports,so viruses can't 'invade' your PC.

I am not into shifting to any other OS unless i get familiar with its interface.... i grew up in XP so i am familiar with it rather than any other OS.... maybe in the near future i will try using Linux... they say it is really good used as a server....

Hey, I think that my favorite operating system would have to be Windows XP. It is by far the best one I have used, but hopefully Windows 7 will take its place the day it comes out. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

I've been using XP Pro ever since and my OS right is pack 3, I haven't tried other OS, but I feel comfortable and used to it, so I might just stick to MS xp.

Unfortunately my favorite OS is not in this list... Windows XP is outdated and too much prone to spam and errors now that you can't use it comfortably without reinstalling it atleast once in a week. In windows Vista they added many interface features(copied some) and also improved the NUMBER OF ERRORS. I used Vista also and had a terrible experience where even reinstalling is troublesome if you use genuine Vista (the activation formalities).. But Microsoft's new Windows 7 looks promising.. It looks much more stable, much more features, much better graphik interface features, rated by critics as the best ever gaming OS (after windows XP). The RC version of Windows 7 is available for download from the microsoft website and its free for one year...So I suggest to have a go at it.. You also missed the very stable and error free Mac OS - Leopard. The open source OS Linux is also gud if you are a developer (programmer)..There is a lot more to talk about Operating systems..Hope you got wat you were looking for..and Thanx for the good question!

Before the OS of my laptop was Vista Business because it has been bought bundled with it, and I never been satisfied with its performance. My laptop got a good hardware but it became useless because of vista. And I have found out that it's legal to downgrade to windows XP, and I never hesitate to do so. Right now my OS was XP and I made it looks like windows 7.
