What is your Preferred Security Software system.

My Choice.
As i am a Hacker i mean no harm to anyone to around mylot or anything to do with mylot.
The most BEST Security Software would have to be Kaspersky
This Software is updated every 15 minutes they crack viruses in seconds there are no cons and tones of pro's this software is not free and must be obtained from the website just do a google search.
I wouldnt not Reccomend the following Anti-Viruses
-Norton-360-
(It can Use up to 1.5GB of RAM while running in normal mode and 2.5-3GB of RAM while Scanning)
-AVG
(Doesnt update to often and cant remove viruses like Other Anti-Virus Products
.
Choose Carefully.

I am using Kasperksky , Avast and Norton in our systems. Among the the above three, I feel Kaspersky is better than the others in its resource management and will utilize only less.But the drawback with this software is that this will take long time to get updated even if the update file size in terms of kb..
But in my experience the worst software is McAfee. We can not do anything, while the scanning or update is going on and it will utilize almost all of the recourse. Regarding the virus or threat identification or removal, we can not relay on any of the single software as no software will remove all or most of the virus or the threats available.
Though we have installed the so called best anti virus software, which is updated very often, we can not avoid our computers from being affected by the virus, if we are active in the online earning sites..These software are best suited for those who used to browse legitimate sites.

Some Software LIKE McAffe updates/sends information without any permission. your system does not have controle over Updates,Uploads,Downloads ect.. and its horrible when you are trying to use it to play Video Game's and Torrents beacuse it takes 75% of your internet during update's which are like 700MB each every 1 Hour.

I was on the look out for buying an anti virus. After going through your answers, I have come to the conclussion, that Kaspersky is the best. Can you tell me whether it will take a lot of space. Thanks.

Max Memory Usage:650MB DDR2 RAM.
HARD-DRIVE SPACE: 1GB NEEDED.
Great Software.
Only little con i found was you need to be connected to the Internet 24 hours a day. to receive the latest updates. because they update every 5-15 minutes.
overall its a great software.
and great choice.

That's Great,
If you have 3GB+ of DDR2 RAM
it will work smooth anything UNDER 3.5GB will Make your system unstable.
Norton is known to be a Memory Hogger,Space HOgger, and Sends Private Information to Norton without Permission.

Well, I am now using Kaspersky Antivirus... It is what my friend recommends me... it very reliable.... it really protects me from viruses and malware... so many more...

Yea,
i would reccomend it too.
i have tested viruses with it. and it will delete 98% of them.
Here are the Results
NORTON 360: 65% / 100% VIRUS'S DETECTED.
Kaspersky: 98% / 100% VIRUS'S DETECTED.
AVG: 4% / 100% VIRUS'S DETECTED.
I would not Reccomend AVG to anyone. i have BETA tested the PRO version and its only
45%+ virus detection.
