Hi, all. I know that there are a lot users on mylot are not English native speakers like me, and from all around the world. I am curious about what is the opinion of people who are not chinese about China--the old and modern country. I can see some western newspapers from internet and read their ideas about China. Sometimes articles from these western newspapers are with bias and their opinions are not objective, so I feel that they are not trustable. I just wonder how much do you dear guys on mylot know about this country cause you are more trustable and your opinions are from all of the world?

I know that it is a country in Asia. Beijing is the capital city. Shanghai might be its second biggest city. It is a very large country with a huge population. There is a train that goes to Beijing from Moscow. I have heard about the one child policy. I am really keen on traveling and hope to go to China one day.

Hi, maximax8, thank you very much for your response. First of all, welcome to China if you have chance. China is indeeed a very large country and has the biggest population in the world with more than 1300000000 people. And yes, you are right, the one child policy is inplemented because of the population stress. Also, she has a very long history and many countries are affected by her fanscinated culture. Haha, maximax8, I can even recommend you some famous sites if you really plan to China.
