Referrals?

I don't get any. Ever. Now I've joined under other people, and been their referrals, but I've never had my own. Well, once. My mom, at a survey site. LOL I just can't get myself to try to talk people I know into joining sites. Most of them wouldn't have the time, and the ones who would, I'll tell them about the sites, but I don't try to get them to join under me.

I get my referrals by including my referral links in my blog. I also put my referral link and a short blurb about MyLot in my signature for other forums and message boards I post on. I've found that way to be the most successful! You could also include your referral link and a short blurb about MyLot in the signature of your e-mail.

Have tried all of the above except Craigslist. Nothing works for me. I have referrals who joined and are not active. Our daughter did join but she hasn't had time to be on myLot so she only contributed to a few discussions. Am on my own here so it takes me forever to make payout. I enjoy being on myLot when I am home and have the time.

i ask all mine indivually and on facebook i kind of just post it as my status it never works and i never get any replys but it doesn't ever hurt to try. and i get my referral by asking my closest friends how could they really say no. they don't want to hurt your feelings. i'm like at least try it out if you don't like it you never have to go on again. one liked it but he wasn't patient because he has a real job and makes more so he quit and my close online joined so thats cool i get to chat with her on here as well. so its very hard to get referrals i know but just keep trying. don't bug them too much it can ruin a friend ship i know from experience. shes like stiop talking about it! yelling at me and everything and i'm thinking she lied to me saying she will join but i'm over it. once again just have fun i know about of people with like 1,000 post sometimes don't have referrals it took me till i got to 500 post to get a referral..
