When the Americans with Disabilities Act was passed. For those of you who don't know that the law that protects Americans with disabilities (and I believe, anyone visiting our country with a disability, no matter where they are from) against discrimination. I was 13, happily dancing the night away at my first disability summer camp dance. God, I was so young and had a BIG crush on this cute little Asian boy in a chair, too. I remember thinking that the world was fairer now. I knew I'd have to work hard, everyone disabled or not, always did if they want to make anything of themselves, but I had at least a shot now. So where where you.

Summer of 1990? If it was a week day, I was working. I had just got the jog the 18th , so I assume I was working.

I have a hard enough time remembering 1990 LOL I always get a kick out of those detective shows where they ask a question like where were you on such and such day...like most ppl can remember. On a serious note, it's great that this particular law was passed. I know it's helped many handicapped ppl get fair treatment and made their lives a lot easier. Today is my husband's 50th birthday! lol He was stationed in Texas while I was in Virginia planning our wedding. Our pianist had a terrible car accident and was killed a couple of weeks before and I was scrambling to find another one at the same time, grieving over the loss of a friend. It was hard but some how I managed it all and we had a beautiful and memorable wedding the following month.
