Have you used IE8(latest version). I am a developer. I am using IE8. It is very easy to use and more features than IE7. More security. It has an add on like Fire Bug which we used in Firefox. What do you think about it. Reply me also give me a rate for me...

I went from IE6 to IE8. it is not too bad. But the only thing I am having problems with is going for the home button and the refresh button. Those buttons are in different spots and I am always going to for the buttons in the old position.

I do use it, but not much. Only IIF a website is not highly compatible with Firefox (which is rare compared to back in the days), I use it. The main reason for this is the speed... the IE series had always been too heavy for me. Also, I'm not sure about IE8 but in older versions, Windows Explorer used to crash as well whenever IE crashes. That's what made me step away from IE, and ever since, had been a fan of Firefox. Does it still happen with IE8 as well? The last reason I do not use IE8 much is because I use Mac alot nowadays. So I tend to stick with Safari & Firefox, which work beautiful on Mac. Since IE8's interface is bit different from the two, I tend not to use it even when I go back on Windows as it feel different.

IE8 is nice but I would say a little slower and buggy still. Chrome and Opera (unite) are evolving great If you are a fire fox fan then I am sorry we can not have a technical conversation here. Do not compare any browser with fire fox, cuz fire fox is based on ripping off ideas from opera and pose it as original ..lol I think IE8 has some nice accessories but still chrome seems better for certain websites. Infragistics and some 3rd party controls used to work properly on IE6+ but do not seem to work the same on IE8. Chrome also fails on that account. But overall browsers are heading towards the right direction I think, with good inbuilt support for scripting and stuff and giving more extensibility to developers to write gears or accelerators and stuff.
