This is just heartbreaking!

Another news headline this morning was about a boxer, Vernon Forrest who was killed in a carjacking attempt in Atlanta the other day. Apparantly this guy was one of the good ones and the Kevin Blackistone (fanhouse dot com) article on him is enough to bring tears to your eyes when you read about Forrest helping an autistic child tie his shoes.
Such a tragedy. With all the problems in the world it really makes you feel bad to lose someone who tried to make a difference and do good things for his ocmmunity, especially in such a meaningless violent way as this.

It's very sad to hear that, especially when this boxer has a bright future ahead of him.
I wonder how anyone can sleep at night, with the intention of killing innocent folk just for the sake of taking their car. I hope they suffer from all kinds of nightmare and their conscience doesn't let them rest in peace forever.

I know we shouldn't think such things but I wouldn't mind of the person who killed him did some suffering.

There are many mean people in this world and when you here about good people dieing for no reason at all it makes you sad and mad at the same time. sad to loose someone that could have made a difference in so many ways and angry that someone could take another live for no reason at all

This guy was really making a difference. He had started a special home for kids and a lot of the money came from his own pocket. It makes me wonder what will happen to the facility now.
