I would like to ask for everyone who reads this to please pray for my dad. He is only 50 and is not in great health, but has just found out that he has severe staph infection. He has several abscesses, some of which have turned black, but he is at the doctor right now. They have him hooked up to an IV giving him antibiotics and he is going to be taken to the hospital for surgery within the hour. Please pray for him.

thank you so much an update on my dad He got out of surgery, but he is on 4 antibiotics and if the abscesses don't dissolve then he will have to have surgery next week, and it would not look good.

I will keep him in mind. I am sorry he has to go through that. It is a sad ordeal. I know because our neighbor and close friend is going through this. He is around fifty. Over the years he has had reoccuring infection in his leg. Well months ago they amputated his leg just below the knee. He was just starting to get better when it came back. NOw they are considering amputating it further up. I keep commenting saying you can only amputate so far till it gets up into his bloodstream. It is sad to think it may kill him but we keep hoping and praying for a miracle.

thank you, the area that my dad has it in can not be amputated, so the surgeon is trying to cut out all of the places, we are still waiting on blood work to come back to find out if it is in his blood. I am waiting on my mom to call me, I wish I could be at the hospital right now, but I am waiting on my father in law & his wife to get here to watch my kids so i can go. Anyhow, thank you again
