Why don't some myLotters use any Avatar?

I am confused. Some members of myLot are not using any Avatar. I have even noticed some members with more than 5000 posts bracketed with their id have no Avatar! Still they have myLot default Avatar with their id. I am not sure why.[em]cry[/em
This is very hard to believe that these members don't know how to set an Avatar. A member who is participating in myLot discussions for a long time is supposed to know how to set a picture for his/her id and is supposed to know where the option is. Yet, some bother a little to spare little time for this act.
An Avatar makes your id look even better. Correct me, if I am wrong.

Maybe some people feel that they do not really need an Avatar as people who have a lot of posts here with no Avatar also have a lot of friends usually on their friends list to where people here know their nick, so maybe they just do not feel that it is important. I have had the same one here for most of the time I have been active here, but I guess it is a matter of personal opinion as well.

it does look better with an avatar. look what you have there very cute marching little boy. when i joined mylot putting an avatar is the first thing i did. love to change it also every now and then. sometimes i use my own photo as my avatar and sometimes i use cartoon characters like shrek and fiona. i am sure there are valid reasons why some are not putting their own avatar. they are maybe enjoying the green default guy.

i guess some users didn't think it was important or they didn't theirs being copied by any one and starts to discredit their name. i don't know, maybe you should asked them yourself,. feels weird but for me with out avatar i don't i have an identity. avatar is something that we represent.
