Are You In Control Of Your Life?

I have come across many people who say, my destiny has already been written down and I only do what I was meant to do in this life but surely everyone has free will. Surely its you who makes the decisionh when planning to do someting be it whether its to cook your food, go to your mate's house, have a nap, sing, dance, play etc. Whats your view? Are you in control of your life?

yes, and I do know that that destiny has been predestined too, but it doesn't mean to make me sitting idle without do anything and waiting everything to come to me. Like you ahve mentioned, in life human have free will and there are many chances in life human can chase to make it great. It just even though it has been predestined, but I always remember no one can change anything for me if I don't take action. I'm not totally in control of my life because i believe in higher power, but as a grwon up, I can make most of my decision related to my life. Not able totally in control because somehow, as living in society being in contract with employer, I cannot make my own decision as I want.

I am in control of the choices I make. I cannot say that I am in controll of my life because there are to many factors in life that I cannot control, such as the weather, my in laws, the lady that rear ended me a few months ago, that is all part of my life but I am not in controll over it. Instead I am in controll of how I respond to life, and to me that is more important.

Well at 61 years old I should hope so! But there are situations that occur that are beyond your control that do influence your life! tdemex

Emotionally and in terms of family and social life, yes I feel I have control over the relationships and issues there. The thing with which I am at a crossroads is my career choice. I am stuck in a Sociology program but want to go into business, so I am struggling to figure out how I can transfer over without feeling like the undergrad years of Soc were a waste. I have a lot to do to figure out a path to an MBA program, so it feels a little overwhelming right now, but it is not like I am breaking down or anything.
