We all know that with economic recession, the people come to restaurant visit become less and less over the months. To gain back the business loss, many restaurants offer value meal with lower price than usual. For instance, AppleBee's is the first one to announced its valued meal on advertising, about 2 entrees, and 2 appetizers for $20.00. Outback steakhouse too offer 7 entrees less than $15.00. Chili's and Ruby Tuesday also follow suit in attempt to bring back more customers to eat out during this tough time. Would you eat out more because with those value meals advertisement?

Hi clorissa,
I am not a big fan of this fast food restaurant. So it would not effect me much if they have such promotion. Value meals is common. Every fast food restaurant have their own value meal. You will have your money valued if the item listed there is the one which you like. But if you didn't like some of the items then that is no point to have that value meal.
But they do most of the time have a special offer like deduction of price, buy one free one or free refeel for the beverage. They usually only offer the special price deduction on certain hours or days. If I had to go there, for any reasons, I will go during this promotion time.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

I live alone so the chances of eating out happens often. But then, here in Ph, we do have lots of restaurant that cater cheaper food than fast food chains. We have McDonalds at the ground floor of our bldg but we still go to this restaurants where you can already eat for only a dollar and 50, some even less.
