How do you celebrate friendship day?

Hi Chaitra! I extend my best wishes to all my dear friends on 'Friendship day' so that our friendship could strenthen day by day.

Frankly i do not celebrate any of these "days". For me everyday is friendship day since i talk to my friends whenever i feel like it or they talk to me whenever they feel like it.I guess all these days have been made because in todays busy world nobody finds time even to say hello to each other so they have started keeping special days when one can remember ones friends etc.I find the concept of valentines day as ridiculous. It looks as though one should love each other only on that day and fight with each other the rest of the year.

Hi Chaitra, I born and brought up in a village and never celebrated any kind of ‘days’ before. After coming to Delhi I became familiar with these ‘days’ and now on friendship day I prefer to send cards to my friends. I also receive beautiful cards from my friends. Other than this I am not celebrating the friendship day. How about you?

Hi There! To tell you the truth ive never celebrated friendship day and on top of taht i don't even know the dates it is celebrated.It is not something common here or maybe it's just me. Cheers!

If friends are close, and they know each other.. why to celebrate a particular day as friendship day.. we can make every day, a celebration..... but its hard to get good friends these days.. all are busy and some are too selfish.... Onething is true... good friends remains till the end of the life and others will get down in the journey of life... i had times when i have hell alot of frinds... but only few remains... they are my best friends till the end....

Helo Chaitra.Though there is no special way to celebrate friendship day,we still tie the friendship bands on the day.Last year,we friends went out to eat and had a lot of fun playing the blindfold game in the nearby park.I guess,such days are meant to have fun and forget the worries of life,for sometime atleast.

i didnt celebrate it..of course in heart i remember all my old friends before my marriage, and i called some of them...but as such nothing for celebration...my children celebrated it..they bought friendship bands and exchanged with their friends in schools as well as those near the home....

When there is friendship day we buy some gifts for our friends and small cards to wish them a happy friendship day and to tell them the importance of them in our life because they have been here in our sorrow and happiness so we thank them for standing for us. We also host dinners and lunch, well we each have our turns to do that though.
