With every forum we become a member, or for every new web program or for every new money making site we join, we need to get a login ID and also think about a new passwrd ...here is my question , is it ok if I have a single LOGIN for all the sites ? and a single password every where ? what are the pros & cons to this ? I am finding it very difficult to keep a track of all the login & password information.need some good suggestions ..friends ...Thanks .

Me too have the same problem but i using a rare id so i can use it for all my forums and single password. There is no use with these and we are not going to keep any of the personal information in these sites. So by using single login and single password may help better.this is my thought.

Its very ok to keep single logins and passwords at different sites i think so there will be problem until and unless your password is strong. and that it is not common. or else the best option is [this is available in firefox, chrome] whenever u login it the browser asks to save the id and password or not to.. at that time select yes if u wish to and there will be no problem remembering all the time Let me know with the result.

hello shankarbaddi ,Good afternoon,Yeah I agree with u ..the firefox asks every time..this provision can be utilized...as long as u r accessing the net only from ur home..but in case of a public place , this is not practicable and also unsafe...in the second case the single -login- same password option seems to be very convinient and quite logical thing to do..thanks for the excellent suggestion..have a nice day..bye

For me, I use a single login and password for sites that are for leisure purposes where even my account is stolen, the harm it can cause me is fairly limited. For those that I am more serious, I will use different password for them so as to avoid losing one means losing all. Of course there need to be some rules to generate the passwords for each site so that I am remembering the rule rather than the individual password.
