Would you leave your current job, family, and country for a chance to work in other countries? Let's just say the pay is just a little bit higher. What would be the factors that would keep you from leaving, at the same time what factors would opt you to leave your present situation?

I think it would have to depend on the job and what it offered. If they opted for my family to go as well, I would do it. As long as they found me a place to live, gave me a great employment package then heck yeah I would go in a minute. Oh and the most important thing, No war torn countries to where I am risking my life and the life of my loved ones. I think it would be a great experience for my family. THere is nothing in the city where I live but trouble. I grew up here. Things are very different than when I was young. There were activities to do , places to go. No one was killing each other. I understand theres trouble everywhere. Not like here there isnt. I would love to take my family and bring them to someplace safe. dl

I am going to do that. I am about to leave my country, my parents, my siblings, and my job to go abroad. My husband works in USA and I am waiting for my visa to join with him. I want to go with him badly, at the same time I will miss my family in my native. I am scared about the market situation and I know that it is difficult for me to find a job there. I work as an instructional designer.

Definitely. The annual salary of young engineers in my country are typically around USD 8500. If I work in the US or in most European countries, I can earn USD 60,000. So the factor that makes me leave my job to work abroad is SALARY.

I'll go, if the offer is great, and I get what I wanted. I always wanted to work and study oversea, experience a new things and faces new environment, I think it will be good. But my family might opposed to it, but I really have a strong desire to go, so I think I go.

I would love an opportunity like working abroad if I can! I'm currently still a student in college and just working part-time so I don't have a stable full-time yet. I love to travel, so I chose to major in Hospitality and Tourism Management in school. I know that for my college requirement, I have to have an internship, and I've been looking into abroad internship opportunities. I would really love to have this opportunity to see if maybe working abroad might be something I want to pursue further in my future career. I would miss my family greatly but I already had this discussion with my parents and they told me that they would support me in whatever I decide to do because they don't want to keep me from doing what I want with my future. I can hardly wait to start researching more potential working abroad opportunities in the future!
