World peace.... or not??

I agree with you Shibbykid that sometimes human are too weak to resist vengeance and avoid causing a fight with other people.For me, achieving world peace should start within ourselves because I believe that if we can control our emotions, the lesser the misunderstandings with other people. Also, I think if each and and everyone of us ca respect each other's belief/religion, then world peace and harmony is possible to achieve since if we know how to respect one's belief, misunderstandings will rarely occur. I hope that all of us should stop bickering because of religion, since no matter what your religion is or faith, what matters is how we live our life so that after our life here on earth, we are ready to face our Divine Creator.

That is very true, i am trying to forgive and forget, but right on spot is hard. I smash them right back. But i am not one to start, just one to follow. But i am sure many people say that, ha ha. I will try to dig a little deeper in myself and try that, thanks a bunch!

I am also the type of person that can forgive but never forget. But I am someone who does not easily pick a fight unless provoked and my patience was tested. But I am slowly but surely trying to be as humble as I can be because I got tired of being hot-headed and war-freak person.

I agree with you tdemex that disrespect of one's belief is the cause of those never-ending cycle of wars.

i love peace,too. but it is almost impossible to be permanent because of differences in beliefs and values, conflict of interest and struggling for resources. even when with the same belief and value, no conflict of interest and reasonable share of resources, conflict is still to be happen because of our own shortcomings, like ambitious to surpass others.
