Do you revive your discussions after you have responded to all replies a while ago? Was just wondering whether people do this and perhaps it might serve as a tip.

I have never done that. Is it allowed?

I meant reviving by reacting not reposting. Sorry.

I don't belive we are allowed to do that! I heard it before in a previous discussion. I did it once but changed the discussion a little! I received 5 responses the first time and 74 the second? Go figure. tdemex

My bad, I meant reviving the discussion by reacting to it.

Mike gives a great answer for tips to revive the discussions and staying within MyLot's terms. Once in awhile I will respond to a comment in my older discussions if I have something to say or if I think the discussion is important/worthwhile, but this is not something I make a habit out of. I only do it very occasionally.

No, I don't but many do. It's really annoying when you come accross topics that have been posted and discussed (many times) before. Others are doing it for lack of fresh topic that they can think of or perhaps they know it will ellicit a lot of responses. It boils down to getting those "precious cents" which is rather disappointing if that's the only reason that drives a person for posting "rehashed" or redundant topics.

If you have responded to all of the replies it may be difficult to revive the discussion unless you add a further comment to someone else's response.
