This is a beautiful Purplish blue flower with a tinge of pink with its native as mumbai in asia.This flowers bloom once in 8 years,its botanical name Strobilanthes Callosa.Plant was discovered by Nees,a Britisher Location:In Madhya pradesh,Gujarat and in large areas of Konkan and the western ghats. Season Grows during monsoon and withers after rains,but blooms only once in eight years. This is high medicinal value Juice of Karvy leaves is used by tribals to cure any kind of stomach disorders. Have you come across any such flowers?
