I have baby things that I am going to sell. Just curious about where to get the most for your items. In your opinion. Ebay, craigslist? A garage sale? If you had numerous items how would you sell them?

Well, you might get more on eBay since they might be people competing for your items and it can raise the price of them. Not sure about craigslist. When people go to a yard or garage sale they expect to find good deals at a low price so you might be able to sell it but maybe not for what you actually want for it. You could sell things individually but give them a set price if they buy items together and take a few dollars off..so they will be buying more maybe then they might originally wanted to..so your not stuck with unwanted items. Well, good luck with selling your items..eBay has a sell five(5) things free a month..so maybe you can get out of listing fees and sell your stuff that would be great. people like to buy things in lots sometimes cause they are thinking they are getting more for their money that way..good luck.

My daughter takes her used baby and kids stuff to the local consignment store. She cleans up the item, takes it in, and when it sells the store gets 15% of the price when it sells, and they mail my daughter a check for what she earned from it. Works out best, we think, because there's no strangers coming to the house, no shipping the item, and we can just take it and get something for it. Some stuff we do at our garage sale. If it's in good condition, or newer, then the consignment store seems to be best (because everybody going to garage sales expect really cheap prices!)

It depends on the condition of the items you are looking to sell. Most of the things my kids have had I bought 2nd hand so a rummage would be the best way for me. Though I am feeling overwhelmed as we have no garage & hubby is of no help. I am considering just donating everything at this rate. I'd hate to but I can't hang on to things forever til someone can bear to help me.

Ebay is good but they charge listing fee's. So you loose some of the money your earn which sucks. Craigslist is good and you can get that person to come pick it up at their own expense. Just like having an online garage sell. And if you have a garage sell you can also list it on craigslist in the garage sell section. If you have alot of stuff then a garage sell is a good idea. But think before doing it. When people stop they are looking for variety. LIke electronics, furniture, clothes, toys, baby items, shoes, and other stuff. Personally if I drove up on a yard sell and it was even nothing but baby items or nothing but clothes then I will pass it up.

I know a site that has lower fees than ebay. In fact, the site gives 5% of your money back on the fees. Pm me if you are interested.
