What In American Life is More Important Than the US Constitution??

If you were to prioritize all the things that mean anything to you in your life, where does the US Constitution fit in?
For me, it goes, God, Family, US Constitution, Everything Else...
It's easy for me to put it like that, since (to me) each of the three entities go together. God is the creator of the universe and everything in it, Family is the institution established by God for us to perpetuate our species and raise our offspring. The US Consitution is the government framework that helps God and Families ensure the promises of freedom to the individual.
The Declaration of Independence defined the purposes of the Founding Fathers in separating from Britain and establishing a new nation. The US Constitution codified the purposes, and defined the ways the goals would be met.
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed"
We have rights, not because any group of people or government document says so.. but because we are Human beings. Governments have only 1 legitimate purpose and that is to secure Human Rights for the Governed. If any government or person usurps those rights, they are NOT acting in their capacity as Government, but defying their very humanity. They are no better than a virus... and should be removed by all Constitutional means.
I know the US Constitution only applies to the United States, and that is as it should be. However, no government of any nation or people has the right or authority to take away the rights of the people, simply because they have the power to. This is as vile and as evil as murdering or raping a child, simply because we have the strength to do so.
We should never look on a tyrant with any less disgust than we look on a child rapist/murder. To do so simply because we happen to agree with the policies, party affiliation or contempts as the tyrant is to hold the child down while the tyrant has their way with the child.
We are told that we should "just let" a leader do what they want, and see how it works out, as if our leaders answer to no one but history. This is vile, evil and laziness at it's worse. If we aren't willing to stand up to the leaders we agree with, then we have no place to complain about leaders we oppose.
No leader under the US Constitution should ever expect, nor do they ever deserve our unquestioning devotion. They are mere mortal human beings, no more deserving of worship than a golden calf. To worship them is to deny or your humanity.
When we judge the policies, decisions and words of our leaders, the first thing we should be doing is demanding that they comply with the US Constitution. Then we should be looking at the language of the bills, holding all who vote on them responsible for every word in the bill.
If a bill cannot be justified by the US Constitution and the language in it... there is nothing good about it. PERIOD.
If a leader would circumvent the Constitution, or approve of a bill they know nothing about.. there is nothing good about their leadership.. period.
We can't go back and change the mistakes of the past. We can't live in the present trying to second guess the past.. but we can demand that, right here, right now, the shenanigans of rascals end! Period.
If we aren't willing to do this, we fail as human beings, as free people, as families and make a mockery of our entire existance. If we can't live up to our responsibilities, we have no excuse to exist... nor do we deserve to.

True. The first step would be for people to quit accusing each other of hate simply because we disagree with a politician.

Rather than try and list everything in order of importance, I will say only this. We have not only the letter of the constitution I expect my government to abide by but the spirit of it. Legislators and presidents often consult lawyers and pick and choose individual words to be able to call a bill "constitutional". If you have to go to such lengths to be able to call a bill contitutional, than yu are probably violating the spirit of the constitution, just stop writing the bill. Send your lawyers home, tear it up and forget it, it is unconstitutional.

I would say family, Constitution, Bill of rights, everything else.
I agree that the first question ALL of our elected officials should be asking themselves BEFORE they vote on anything is if the bill is justifible with the constitition. If it isn't....then they need to vote NO. End of story.
