Need new laptop

I need to buy a new laptop and I decided that since I only use it for typing documents and doing research that I would rather have a netbook. Can anyone suggest a really good netbook? (aside from the vaio)

I would recommend the ASUS Eee PC 1000HE... 9.5hrs battery life, 10" screen... keyboard is 92% of a full keyboard... personally, I stay away from Sony computers - have seen too many of those unreliable machines...
