i am a58 year old grandmother who loves to watch spongebob with the kids. it really is a show for older people because many of the jokes are over the heads of little kids. it's hilarious and i hope to never outgrow it. it really is more sophisticated than many sitcoms.

I like to watch cartoons. In cartoons they can do a lot since in live action shows it is more expensive to add special effects then in cartoons. In cartoons your favorite character is less likely to be cast off since they can just replace a voice actor.

I am forty five years old and my favorite cartoon is Scooby doo. I own all the scooby doo cartoon movies as well as the complete season one of the series. I find watching Scooby fun and relaxing. This cartoon has been around longer than I have. I do not see any problem with people watching cartoons no matter how old they are. My husband loves to watch the reruns of Johnny Quest. He likes the strange monsters that are in that cartoon. The fact that so much time has pasted since the making of the cartoon makes the show even more interesting. You see my husband is sixty four and he still loves this cartoon. We laugh at the animation more now that we are older because times have really changed but the cartoon is still enjoyable. My daughter still watches cartoons as well. She loves to watch the old Batman cartoons. She thinks it is so funny when Batman hits someone and the words Bam or Boom are put up on the screen. She can not believe that her mom used to watch this cartoon and now she is too. I have the complete season one of Batman the cartoon on dvd so that we can watch it whenever we want. I do not think that there is anything wrong with someone watching cartoons no matter what age they are. The bottom line is simple if you enjoy the cartoon watch it.
