Which is more important?

Would you rather be in a relationship with someone, who you didn't love, but took care of you financially, or someone who you loved with all your heart, but didn't have a lot of money? I have a friend who hates her husband, but stays with him because he has a good job. Personally, I would rather be poor and in love, than rich and unhappy.

Life is too short to waste a minute of it being unhappy. I would never stay with someone I didn't love for material reasons...that sounds like such a cold, sad life to me. If my husband didn't have a dime to his name and we had to live a very meager lifestyle I would still have the happiness he brings to my heart.

Your right, I don't see how you could go on day to day, being fake with the person. Love is more important than money, at least to me. I guess not for everybody, though.
