Do you like to pay attention during school lecture ?

It takes a lot of energy out of me to pay attention in most lectures, but I do stay concentrated because you do take better notes that way. I have to agree many of them are boring, but there are a few where the professor says something and I think about the idea myself, so those moments keep me interested.

LOL. Who does??? :P lol. unless its on a great topic that I'm interested in I just roll my eyes cuz the teacher just drones on and on and on when they could make it a LOT easier just handing out a paper or making it shorter.

Hi winterliang, when I was a student during those younger days, I did feel bored when came across certain lecturers who were strict and serious during the school lecture. Some lecturers were totally different. There were humorous when giving lectures. Their relaxing ways of teaching aroused the interest of all the students unconsciously I always had great interest and would pay attention to their lectures. Yes!! Thats true.. Majority of students don't pay attention to the lectures..Its really to boring..I tried to pay attention to it previously but I gave up as I used to feel very sleepy. But in my class there is a very few who are very studious. I used to collect notes specially running dictation of notes from them.

I like to pay attention if i still don't understand the lesson, but if the lesson is about memorizing then I won't give attention too much because I can read it in the text book. But it depends on the lecture too. I have a lecture who always explain something in a boring way.. He teach lesson that needs memorizing and he speak without expression and without any tone variation, All my friends in class always feel sleepy everytime he come but he's strict so there will be punishment if he find you look sleepy..

LOL who really pays attention during lectures? I know that I always caught myself doodling while i was in HS and most of my homework had some sort of drawing on it at one point or another. Guess that there are those that are really into the class and want to be top of their class, so they stick their nose in the books and record the lectures and goes back and relistens to them later on..can you say NO LIFE lol.
