Jackie boy has had two siezures

I have this small black terrier type male dog (only 18 months old) who, to date, has had two fits, one in the back of my car whilst I was driving on a fast highway. Its very distressing and my vet nor I know what is causing it. I have a feeling he is prone to the heat here during summer, but Im not sure. Both times he has also vomited violently, nor sure if this is significant. Does anyone has experience with this kind of problem? Any advice would be gratefully accepted.

Hi Ritz100, I am so sorry to hear about this, a friend of mine who is a mylotter as well has a dog called Gissi, he suffers from fits as well and she has to give up plenty of water to drink, don't understand why your vet don't know. Hope he is ok, keep him cool and give him plenty of water to drink. Tamara

The vet might be able to tell me but they need to run tests, which obviously I cant afford. His guess is heat, as is mine, so I dont take him out in the daytime anymore, he gets walked at sunrise and sunset, thats the best I can do. So far he hasnt had another since the car journet. Thanks for your concern, its always heartwarming to have others who care.
