What would you do when you find a special child in your family ?

I mean what exact reaction you would have when you meet a special child. Your family means it could be your aunt's child, sister child or anyone of your relative's child. There are families who just act with indifference when they see such children. They do not treat them as humans at all. It is very sad as it is not because of their mistake they are born as special children. How do you feel?

Well, anyone may feel a bit shocked to find a special child and at first your mind may hesitate to accept the fact. But you cannot escape from the realities of life and you have to digest it not with hate but as good as you would do if you had a normal child in fact more than that. I pity those who act indifferently because it is neither the child's fault nor the parents'.

I have not met such a child yet but its not a case of any special attention. We always love our loved ones equally.

It is not a case of special attention but such children should be approached with more love and care than we do with normal kids. After all they are also humans.

I would not sympathize! Instead i would try to help them out. If they stay nex tto my place i would become the special kid's friend and would even be ready to baby sit if the kids mom or day would like to take a day off or needs to go out. I do know families where such children are treat as special and there are families who are least bothered or show as if the kid's presence does not make a difference to them :S
