You feel bored when dishwashing maybe because you dont like the task. Better love it! In my case, I like washing the dishes. this is because I don't like to see dishes all over the sink. It attracts cockroaches, ants and flies. Besides I like to play with water. I feel my hands are clean after every dishwashing.

hey girl, I actually agree w/you! Another thing I hate, if there's a cup in the sink, why not just wash it and use it. Why grab another one, use it, and put it in the sink as well?

i dont like washing dishes all that much just because being the one that makes supper and being the one that has to clean up afterwards is just not fun at all! i would rather sit and relax!

It is boring. I had to wash dishes as a kid also. My brother and I took turns with washing and putting them away. Im grown now and I wash dishes every day. I don't love it but it needs to be done. I don't like to see them stacked up. I just put on some good music and get them done.

in our country we dont use a dish washer so we wash plates manually. in a hot weather i can say i love doing it for it refreshes me. but sometimes it is a burden for my hands are to big and can not fit inside the drinking glasses. sometimes i cant wash anything specially if i just got from work or practice. i am in a band i play bass guitar. now that i am married for 7 years i seldom wash dishes though i help my wife in errands and other chores.

I honestly don't mind washing dishes. I think I've gotten to be pretty fast in washing dishes. In our household, the person that cooks, shouldn't be the person that cleans up afterward. I don't mind when I cook, plus I make things easy. I always clean as I'm cooking. that way when dinner (or any meal) is done, all that needs to be washed are the dishes that were eaten off of. It's like laundry, I love to wash/dry/fold clothes. Only downfall is, I hate to put the clothes away. I tell my bf that I'll wash his & my clothes if he puts mine away for me. So far, it's been working out ok. yes, I know, I'm weird!

I don't really fancy washing dishes but I love to cook and that is a bummer to me for real. Sometimes when my parents or siblings are around I would be the one cooking and they will be washing the dish. On certain days when I home late and when my mum cooked already, that will be not a good day for me since I am the one to be washing the dish. But I think it is fair enough because my mum cooked and she deserves a pamper.

maybe when you were younger, you were curious on many things until you tried it. that's same with washing the dish. it should not be treated as something that makes you happy but a responsibility. you have to wash your dishes so you won't get germs when you eat. you should know the importance of doing so. maybe you are helping your family or it's a job. that way, you get inspiration out of boredom.

Since my childhood, my parents have molded us with the proper guidance and upbringing and that includes washing the dishes. Mind you, I really feel the same way that you do. But my parents told us that we have to be thankful enough that we have something to wash, because it means to say that we have something to eat. Unlike other people who doesn't have something to wash because they do not have something to put in their plate, so as a result they have nothing to wash. So the idea here is that, be thankful that you have something to wash. Rather than you do not have something to wash because you do not have something to eat.

I don't like washing dishes all the time but I also do not want my sink be cluttered by dirty dishes that's why even if its only a cup, a plate or a spoon, I wash them immediately so they won't pile up. Also, I bought a soap that's gentle on the skin and won't smell with my plates and cups. Even if I don't like washing them at all, I'd rather wash them than see insects crawling on my sink.

I used to dislike washing the dishes, but I am doubtful how my other family members wash the dishes.. I could still feel if the dishes are not the clean, so I volunteer to rather do the chore and have learned to love it.

i'd rather do other household chores than washing dishes, i think the dishwashing detergents are so so strong and it makes my hands rough.

No, I don't like doing dishes. However, now I don't have much of a choice to do the dishes, as I don't have a dishwasher. So, not doing the dishes is not an option. It's the way that it is. As much as I don't like it, I'm not complaining to much about all of this. It's something that has to be done.

It is interesting, I remember when I Was little, I Always wanted to help my mom to wash the dishes and found that was fun but since I'm getting older, I hate doing it even though I have a dish washer.. I still don't particularly like the washing dishes part and putting it back to the places after the dish washer is finished, I still have to clean something that i canoot put into the dish washer anyway so I don't like it AT ALL...

not at all. the wash cloth we have isn't really a cloth, more like a scrubber thing and it is painful to use. I'd rather wash clothes by hand.
