My friend computer is in problem again.......

Hello friend in previous day I have shared a problem of my friends computer that it was restarted after one minute at last it was automatically recover by its own.But now a days he faces a great problem with his computer it was that the task messenger of the computer are not appear and the another thing is that the home page which are present by clicking on internet expolar it was ownered by the another web site which are not well known web address.I were so much deprive by seeing his computer. I have not seen such a type of problem in a computer before.
Do you know any possible solution of these problem?Is it any virus problem?How can we get rid of this problem.

Possibilities are there for the system get infected by the virus. If you are not able to access the task manager with control+alt+delete, then you may try with the keys control+shift+esc keys. This may work. Regarding the home page, you might have installed some free software recently.Such software will be bundled with some tool bars and home page set ups.While installing the software , you might have unchecked these options.The only option is to uninstall such software and then carefully installing them after following the each step carefully. If you find difficulties in uninstalling, end the process related to the particular software( if the task manager works) and them uninstall. IF still not possible, you remove the corresponding folder in the programs files in the C drive. THis should be the final step..

I am not sure it's from a virus or not because Windows always check your hardware and software. I have no task manager a few days ago, and what happen to me is the computer reseting only when I want to use program with a lot of memory. I though that is virus after scan the computer (my computer won't unable to stable for long time, it's turn to started Windows), and I turn off (what I see is something wrong with the memory). So, I test my hardware one by one and now it's work fine but a little slow. Do your friend got error message from Windows? If you want to know what cause the error send the message to Microsoft.
