Don't get me wrong. It is great, awesome. Specially that Iphone with the 3G network. Camera, MP3 , video, GPS, etc,etc..It's really overwhelming. For me personally, I just need my cell phone as a cell phone. Call me old fashion, the feature that mostly I use is make a call, text message.

I completely understand what you mean. But at the sametime, some people need all that for different reasons. I personally don't like too many stuff on my phone & quite frankly, if it wasn't for my job, I wouldn't use most of the stuff either. Some time ago, I had a change of a position in my work & I needed a phone with email access because I couldn't really sit in one spot. I traveled a lot for work. I went out & got a blackberry pearl. Little over 2 month ago, I started carrying my laptop with me for same work reasons. I've changed my phone back to something very basic, Nokia 8890. In between, I went back to blackberry for about 2 weeks then now I'm back to basic phone. My phone bill used to be $122/month but now it's $97/month. That includes unlimited voice calls & text messages. That's all I need for my use. I know some of my co-workers who travel a lot needs other type of phones because they do a lot more on their phone than I do, emails, internet for work related sites, camera for case related claims & so forth. I guess everyone's needs are all different & so are their phones.

Well, for me i don't need all the features of my phone. It has a Push to talk just like a two way radio which i did not use even once. My phone were use as cal and text message and sometimes listening to fm radio. THat's it and no other feature i use.

No, not really, I just used it to call and for text purposes, sometime the camera, and the radio for music. It is important only that you have a way of communicating with your love ones, relatives, family andfriends.

It is true that there are a lot of features on cell phones that lots of people don't need or would even use. I know my phone has a lot more on it than I will ever use. I listen to my music on the media player once in a while and I use it for talking, and that is about it. I do have the intenret on it, but don't use it since I don't have the data plan, t would cost me extra to use it every month. I am planning on upgrading my phone though and getting the data plan, so I can access mylot and other sites when I am not home. That is one good thing about cell phonse that they work everywhere basically. Right now, I have to watch what I spend so I will shop around for different phones before I ever buy one. Have a very good day, and happy mylotting.

That's one of the advantage. But yes, sometimes to use all that features on your cll phone make your cell phone bill go up. That's the reason also that I try to make my cell phone as simple as it can be.

Its great to have all the technologies incorporated in the cell phone. Now with the introduction of 3G network, users will be capable of browsing the internet at a much faster speed. Now cellphones are trying to act as a digital camera with high megapixel ratings.
